About Us
As far back as I can remember, my Mom has always
crocheted. She would have several projects started at
one time and seemed to enjoy every moment of her free
time. I would constantly ask her to show me how to
crochet and knit, but I think she felt like I needed to
be a little bit older. (I was only about 7 or 8 years
old.)
Being a very persistent
child, I finally bugged her enough that she gave me a
ball of yarn and a crochet hook and proceeded to show me
how to do the chain stitch. Once she saw I understood
how to make a chain, she left me on my own to practice.
She said "When all of your stitches are the same size,
then I will show you another stitch."
I went to bed that night
with the crochet hook and ball of yarn right next to me.
(I'm really lucky to still have both eyes!!).
I woke up before anyone else the next morning and sat
right up and started crocheting. By the time my Mom got
up, there was a long chain from my bed, down the hall,
through the living room to the TV. She started laughing
and said "Okay, okay, I'll show you the next
stitch!!!).
Well, I haven't stopped
since. I have sold in fairs for over 30 years and have
had customers asking me for certain items. I would hunt
for a pattern and sometimes find one and sometimes not.
I finally decided to start designing some of the many
items they have requested from me.

patterns.
